Secret Bars in Bangkok | EP.1
Get a little closer, make sure no one eavesdropping! We will point out where in Bangkok cool bars are hidden!
If you have Cuba in your bucket list, you would like this bar. The decorations are like the capital of Havana in the ’40s-’50s, louver window, dim light, old wall, archaic exotic patterned tile and the indispensable style of Afro-Cuban.
Havana Social is famous for rum, but they also serve good cocktails. We recommend Cuba Libre (260 THB) Bacardi black blend with Angostura bitters, Coke and Bergamot served with ice made of coke. Another great menu is ‘Between the Sheets’ (300 Baht), which includes Bacardi black, Hennessy VS, Grand Marnier, lemon and pomegranate- don’t be surprise if two glasses served, because one is sweet and another one is sour- you have to sip these two glasses alternately to get the right taste!
Havana hides deep in a small alley opposite the Fraser Suites on Sukhumvit Soi 11. If you find massage places with suspicious look, be sure you are in a right soi. Look for the phone booth labeled Telefono, then call 087-066-7711, the store will give you the secret code to open the door!
Hours of operation: 18.00-02.00
If you want to feel like a secretive member in a detective movie. We recommend that you go to Q & A that simulate the classic decor of the New York train in ‘Roaring Twenties’ era.
Q & A’s bartender is specialize in exclusive cocktails for each customer. If you want to drink a classic menu, try The Rough Negroni (390 THB), Homemade gin syrup, pine and citrus fruits or so called ‘Comte De Monte Cristo’ (420BHT), Port wine with Ethiopian coffee and Roasted Pecans mixed with Amaro Montenegro and 12-year-old Diplomatico Exclusiva
Look for abandoned buildings before the Case Coffee, if you see a green marble wall, you are at the right place. Be warned, this place is not only very secreat but also very small with only 10 seats available.

- J. Boroski
The owner of this secret bar is Joseph Boroski, a famous mixologist behind bars in many luxury hotels, including Ashley Sutton and Quince.
At J.Boroski, there’s no menu and each cocktails are all individual recipes. The price per glass is 620 baht! But I must say it is worth it. For some cocktails, you won’t be able to find it anywhere in Thailand except here! We don’t want to spoil what it is, all we can tell is the cocktails’ ingredients are from another side of the earth! (Do not panic, some cocktails are a bit lighter in price.)
We are forbidden to tell the exact location. A hint- it’s located in Soi Thonglor- odd number. Look for women in red dress at the corner. Have fun finding it! If you really desperately lost, call 02-712-6025.
